Rural property tax act bc

THE RURAL PROPERTY TAX SYSTEM contains the property tax records for all rural properties in British Columbia. The system is maintained by the Surveyor of Taxes, and is constantly updated. The system does not contain property tax records for:

• municipal properties
• Indian lands
• charges levied by a Regional District or an Improvement District.

Information on tax records for municipal property can be obtained from the Tax Certificates Online system.

Assessed values of rural property can be obtained from the BC Assessment database.
